End of year Chairmans Report

Tina and Mick Wood resigned as moving away from the village. Tina Bateman also resigned recently. We co-

opted and welcomed Brian Stone to become a councillor. We have also received two more applications for

councillors which will be addressed in the following meeting. The clerk has agreed to continue duties

for now.

We have continued to pursue grants for the upgrading of the hall and are currently waiting the funds to be

made available for the damp issue. Now expected to receive this payment mid June 2025. We haven’t seen

any grants that would satisfy our requirements for 130k at the moment we will monitor with hope.
